Information, not instructions
In game, no imperative text: no “play”, “attack”, “keep”. A finding or a possibility.
Ignidra The application
Ignidra is designed to respect Blizzard's published rules for third-party tools. Here are its limits; Blizzard remains the sole judge of its rules.
| Ignidra does | Ignidra will never |
|---|---|
| Read the text files Hearthstone writes | Read the game's memory, inject code, open the game process |
| Turn on logs in log.config, like every tracker | Modify a game file |
| Read the position of the game window and cursor | Send clicks or keys to the game |
| Add up visible numbers (attacks, Health) | Tell you which card to play, which target or which choice to make during the game |
| Inform you about possible cards | Simulate the outcome of a choice before you make it |
| Your statistics and a review after the game | Rate or rank cards during an Arena draft |
The Blizzard End User License Agreement governs third-party software. Each player should check the current rules.
Ignidra is an independent tool. It has no Blizzard validation. Its design limits tracking to text logs and information the game has already displayed; this does not guarantee freedom from sanctions or that rules will not change.
In game, no imperative text: no “play”, “attack”, “keep”. A finding or a possibility.
Any play suggestion goes in the review, when nothing can change anymore.
Ignidra never displays a combat result before the game shows it.
The Hearth never gives Embers for a win, a game played, a rank or play time: nothing that pushes toward automation.
We don't ship the feature; it goes in the review.
History, reviews, notes: everything is on your PC. Your games are sent nowhere, not even to your Hearth account.
In Battlegrounds, opponents' names are neither shown nor saved. Streamer mode shows none.
The Hearth account will be optional. The service is not open yet; the free tracker does not need it.
Ignidra rejects any update whose signature doesn't match our key.
